  • Villagers from many villages in Monekoe township and Hsenwi township in Northern Shan State, and Panglong township in Southern Shan State were fled from their villages in fear of armed troops’ reinforcement.
  • There were 3000 people who had to be displaced to Hsihseng, Southern Shan State due to the fighting between the Military Council and the People’s Defense Forces (PDF) continues in Demawso Township, Karenni State.
  • During this month, landmines killed FIVE people and injured SIX other people in Shan State.
  • The Military Council arrested TWO people, injured ONE, and sentenced FIVE innocent civilians to prison in Shan State.
  • The Military Council burned down TWO civilian houses in Shan State.
  • The Military Council forced some villagers in Ywargnan and Namsang to cook for them and build a new outpost for them as FORCE LABOUR without pay.
  • There are FOURTEEN cases of gender-based violence reported this month.
    Mostly they are domestic violence and sexual violence.
  • This month, THREE robberies occurred in Shan State and ONE was killed during the incident.
