Information and Documentation

The Information and Documentation Department (I&D) strengthens organizational programs through systematic research, documentation, monitoring, and strategic communication. It generates evidence on issues affecting Shan women and communities, particularly SGBV, CRSV, GBV, and related protection concerns, to inform program design and advocacy. The department leads awareness raising initiatives on gender equality, political participation, SRHR, and women’s and children’s rights. By amplifying women’s voices and supporting advocacy at local, national, and international levels, it promotes accountability, increases public understanding of women’s realities in Shan State, and advances women’s leadership and rights.
